From a billion names to choose from, you chose Mehdi Ali... you ruined my day... :LOL:

We now have a new feature available to help sellers mark someone's interest as expired. As the rules state, if a user does not contact the seller within 24 hours of being first in line, the seller may move on to the next person in line if they wish. (Note: AmiBay sends alerts to users instantly as soon as they reach the front of the queue.)

Here's what a seller will see if it has been over 24 hours:

The clock button next to #1 in line indicates that the seller can mark that user's interest as expired since enough time has passed now. Clicking that button brings up a confirmation dialog:

After hitting Confirm, the queue will show the user's interest as being timed out and the queue moves on to the next in line:

This feature will be available in all new sales threads from now on.

@ALL

We're making a slight change to the Declare interest feature and at the moment it may not be working correctly.

Please declare interest manually.

Hopefully this will be sorted shortly.

It's been a while since I have been selling on Amibay. Have my first sale with this new functionality. I do understand the mark for sale and expire buttons. I do not understand what the checkmarks do, and what happens/when to click/uncheck them. Can you explain? Thx!

If you're just selling one item in the thread, you can just mark the thread as 'sold' once completed and the checkmark isn't needed.

The checkmark is useful if you are selling multiple items in one thread. Clicking on the checkmark marks the transaction with that user as being completed. Just as an example, here is a thread where you can see this in action:

I was looking at > THIS < thread and I was wondering if it's time for the "interest queue" pane to acquire page viewing as well...

Just to clarify, should the checkbox be ticked once money has been received, or at a later stage (e.g. item sent, item received, feedback left)?

Ideally you click the checkbox once you have received the money and the buyers details. That usually signifies that the deal is complete and shipping is underway.
