Don't want to disappoint nobody, but I need approximately three hours for one card, and since there are more than sixty persons in line - it'll take way longer than until 10th January..

I've sorted out my problems with A2000 - have built new and shiny black colored A2k Floppie209 board. By the way - if someone has badly corroded A2000 and needs a replacement - please let me know, have five boards left, also have some BLUSTERs left.

So I've started to build Fat Olgas, sending out payment notifications to next five users in line:

Also can I plug in a CF card in and only mount it so I can copy stuff off it onto my M.2 system drive?

heard that 80-wire cables caused some issues in the past, please use a regular 40-wire cable instead, it will definitely work

Yes, that's how it set up..
just be aware, board revisions before 1.6 can't work with two devices simultaneously without 4-channel adaptor..

Most IDE cables in my neck of the woods (North Amierca) either as 40pin flat or 40pin 80-wire have the block out pin even on the part that connects to the card, would be safe to remove that pin if I needed to?

Update: I can get IDE 40pin dual drive flat ribbon cable from Ebay, but as you can see it has the pin blocked on all 3 connectors. This was something done later in the IDE years as that pin that is blocked isn't used.
