Yes, it has. But I see that PPC board works but are some lags for example when loading workbench pattern.
I think it's known problem, I found in documentation:
"WARNING: Timings on the Prometheus seem not so tolerant. K1/M1 cards do not work with the Prometheus and Warp3D (bus errors)"
Okay. I take it the documentation is just referring to the original Prometheus? Or does that also cover the Prometheus Firebird?

It's from documentation for SonnetLibrary version 17.14 where is Prometheus PCI bridge support added.

- Added support for the Prometheus Bridge with FireStorm firmware. Needs
prometheus.library 4.0 or better (See EAB or contact me).
- WARNING: Timings on the Prometheus seem not so tolerant. K1/M1 cards do not
work with the Prometheus and Warp3D (Bus errors).

That’s disappointing but I appreciate you stopping me in my tracks on this. I was going to order a purple PCB Voodoo4. Looks like we have no choice but to go with Voodoo3 3500.

Have a good day mate

Good evening everyone .
Can anyone tell me why I can't install Arackattack.
The installer hangs at the beginning due to an error on line 50.
I should make a 4-port USB PCI card work on an Amiga 4000 with Firebird daughter card
Thank you

Hello,
my question is, where to place the both already programmed Altera chips (LO27/HI52i), (U400/U401)?
For welding one would need a circuit diagram, I haven't found so far.
I got it:
U400 for HI52i
U401 for LO27
Thank you.

Hi mate, try copying the installer from C on 3.9 CD to your /C

I've designed a new revision of the Firebird A4000 daughterboard.
Nothing major. Details in the first post.

There are some changes in the Firestorm firmware that are not part of the Open Source original afaict.
That changed a short while ago. Michael Böhmer released the source of the DMA enabled Altera version.

Regarding the Firestorm firmware for the Altera being published, thanks for letting me know.
The files are indeed now available on his website.

I've been asked to do a revised version of Firebird daughterboard that fits to the A3000 motherboard housed in a Checkmate 1500 case.
Some info about A3000 motherboard in Checkmate 1500 case here.

I'm gauging how much interest there would be for a Firebird A3000 Checkmate edition daughterboard.

Do you have a Checkmate case with A3000 mounting kit?
Would you be interested in a Firebird Checkmate daughterboard for A3000? Or for AA3000+? Or both?

You could either post your interest here or by private message.
interested

Hi, just a note.
I got the board working - well, Zorro is working and prmscan i able to do it's thing - but as I didn't plan to use it for gfx I don't know yet if network and usb works. This has obviously nothing to do with the card but rather the openpci implementation that requires a gfx card to be able to "activate" the DMA (or something like that). I did order a S3 Virge and now waiting for it to arrive.

Now, seeing how prices for a PCI Radeon have exploded while the price for the same card but AGP are almost giveaway, wouldn't it be cool if one of the PCI slots could be an AGP instead?
@hese is that a possibility for a future revision? I would certainly by a few ☺️

Has anyone tested the clockport of the new Firebird v1.1?
I'm also testing with a PicoWyFy with no success so far,
appreciate knowing other experiences :)
