Great idea mate, any chance of a tutorial on how to update Free McBoot on cards with it already on? that would be very useful.

Thanks in advance

Cheers. Is it plug in. Add USB HDD, point to .iso and play? This is for my 13 year old to use so don't want to be forever tweaking settings for it. :D

Using a ps2 slim.

Its not quite plug and play but near as dammit.
For burning .iso to dvd you need a tiny patch (available through my website) before you burn the game. (it takes like less than a min)

for USB play, again another small program is used to put the file on USB.

once it's done it doesn't really need any tweaking.

Just got round to trying the update, but there is a small issue, regardless of if I choose Install or Multi-Install it comes up with an error "Multi-installation detected! Please uninstall first"

Is it safe to uninstall? will I mess anything up and will it install again Ok afterwards?

Right OK, I'll give it a go but to my mind if you uninstall FMB then there wont be ULaunchELF there in the first place to re install it

Thanks, sorted, what I have managed to do is to create a who new clean install using your original into a new card AWESOME, so I'll keep the card I got from you as master backup, I am surprised how easy it is to create a new card actually, I was told that you needed a degree in Nuclear science to even complete the first step!

Took me a while to figure out how to get OPL in the menu, but I soon figured out that you need to go into the configurator and create a new entry from there.

Glad you got it sorted mate! It is relatively easy when you can access UlaunchELF from another card. :)
