From a rest, booting A1200 in PAL mode = Blank Screen no boot

I have this A1200 NTSC , so to be able to play most games I have to boot it into PAL mode through boot menu.


The problem is when I turn it on after a rest and go directly to boot menu to change video to PAL , it don't boot, screen goes blank , TV or monitor show no signal.


If I let him boot normaly without entering boot menu it works.


If I shutdown after booting it without entering boot menu, turn it on again, enter in boot menu to change video to PAL, it works in PAL mode, just doing these steps worked.


In resume, PAL mode only works if I boot it first without changes, and after I can try change it to PAL.


Already cleaned kickstart roms, as I had got random problems before.


Now only this behavior worries me.


I suppose that this system should be able to boot in PAL mode from a rest without problems.


So whats could be wrong with it ?

Im returning it and asking for refund.

I dont think it is in good condition.

I was disappointed by the malfunction, I can not live with something that can stop working anytime like this.

Fails to boot at least once a day.

Not this time I will have the real thing, maybe never.

they are extremely rare here, and people ask for outrageous prices.
