I've finally managed to find some time fitting the new bezel and printing the floppy parts. The first picture illustrates the difference between the new white front bezel and the old appearance by example of the second floppy.

Thanks again PRS! I'm very happy with my A4000D now.

Also interested for a full set: Front, power knob, cover A, B, C and D in white RAL 9002.

Interested in a 4th run, please PM me if it happens as i am not as active around here as i used to be.

To not disturb the new thread, I'll post here. During past holiday I finally got the time to re-assemble my A4000D. And my god, this front looks so beautiful!!! Thanks so much PRS! I attached it with 5 of the 7 screws, since I did not want to glue stuff on the frame for the magnets to stick to.

I do have a question. Does anybody have an advise on what to use to stick the name plate / badge back to the front. I have the original A4000/040 badge. Removed all the old glue. Tried some simple photo double sided tape pieces. But they weren't strong enough to hold to the metal. I would prefer an option that is relatively easy to undo, if I would decide to put the badge on the original front again and/or get a different badge for this A4000 (e.g. if I upgrade to 060). Should I use stronger double sided tape, hot glue, or something else?

Finally I'm happy PRS is investigating A3000 options, as I informed him by pm, I am willing to help there, if there is something I can help with, given my very limited experience with 3D modelling, etc.

Hi Timmie,

Thank you for the update of your setup. Interesting choice the opticial drive and floppy drive...

With regard to the A3000 option, let's first get this 4th run on the road and I might come back to you. I'm particularly intersted in the mounting options, floppy ejection button, power button and of course its dimensions. I do have a friend in the Netherlands (Almere) that has some 3D modelling experience and has a 3D printer, but he has no affinity with Amiga computers. He might be able to help us out and get an exact 3D model of an A3000 front.

For all that are reading this thread and are interested, currently a 4th run is planned in this thread:

Yes that dates back from the plan to have a voodoo, PCI PPC and/or CSPPC in there. I originally wanted to replace both 3,5 inch covers with covers having vent holes and then guiding the air over the CPU card with some fans. But the PPC & Voodoo will now end up in my AA3000+. But I liked the 5,25" setup so I kept it :)

Hi PRS
