Hi CarlosTex, I've been looking for a fully assembled XT-IDE for about a month and I came across this thread via Google search. I signed up to the forum to ask if it's still possible to purchase one from you. Can't PM yet, so that's why I'm asking here. Thanks!

Hi DirectorSG,

yes it is still possible to get an XT-IDE card. I'm selling 2 models of XT-IDE. The one i'm selling on this thread is the smaller version and i have only one left for sale. This one that's left is reserved for member Manfromx.

However i'm selling the bigger, more capable version of XT-IDE on another thread:

https://www.amibay.com/showthread.p...Lo-tech-8-bit-IDE-Adapter-rev-2-(Full-XT-IDE)

This bigger version does everything the smaller version does but its faster, works with IDE and SATA (with a IDE to SATA bridge) hard drives and can also make an ATAPI ZIP drive work on a V20/V30 XT. It's slightly more expensive, but the extra capabilities are much worth it.
So you can declare interest for one of these cards on its thread, i have 11 of thise still for sale.

The bigger version is the version i personally use, if anybody wants to know, since i appreciate the extra capabilities.

Interested as well. I have the parts + PCB for an XTCF put in a box but still do not have the courage to start soldering.

New order

Hi, I would like to buy 1 board.
As my Commodore PC-10 has the original 8088 processor, I would like you to write XT-IDE on the EEPROM.
I would also like to have the High Density Floppy enhancement, but I only plan to buy a 1,44 MBytes floppy drive as A:, and put the already existing 360 KBytes as B:
Is that possible? If so, will it still be possible to replace the drive with a 1,2 MBytes in the future?

Thank you.

Hi,

everything you mention is possible, but later when you make the switch to the 1.2MB drive we need to reflash the EEPROM with a new file i will provide. Don't worry as i will help you through the steps.

I will send you a PM with all the details about the board ASAP, i've been a little busy lately. I would also recoomend you to introduce yourself in the proper section of the forums.
