GOTEK and HXC FIRMWARE on ATARI STE

Does this firmware allow you to use the drive A and B slots in the Atari ST version of the HxCFloppyEmulator Manager at the same time? So when rebooting you have access to both drives? Or can you only use the drive A slots?

Only one drive emulation. The SD HxC is able to do drive A & B.

If Atari ST/STE firmware is now possible, do you think other machines that the HxC support will also be possible on the GOTEK - I'd be interested to see if the Amstrad CPC could be supported.

CPC 6128 is supported quick and easy to flash. Those having blue screen issues are probably using pirate clone USB TTL flashers. Mine worked fine on W7Ultimate 64bit. Took seconds

Some questions...

1) I see from http://hxc2001.free.fr/floppy_drive_emulator/ that 1.44Mb is supported on ST but does that mean hardware mods fitted or in models that natively support 1.44 or for ALL STs?

2) Expanding on #1 - it says 9/10/11/18 sectors.. what about 20/22 sectors for 1.6+ Mb images?

3) Anyone know STX images will come out of "unstable/alpha" state?

4) Anyone got any links/guides for adding the Text display module (I believe the parts are cheap on eBay)?

5) Anyone know if SKINNING is possible on the AutoBoot programs?
