relokick doesn't seem to work , or the ADF i have doesn't. it gurus and then resets back to kickstart 2.0.

could be my adf i suppose...

Oh no! Hmm john can you check that?

You have too let me know how you get get on allen1 when you get your next drive

Will do

I used the Gotek with 3.1 ADF's and it installed on a new CF card without a hitch. No more corrupted floppy disks to worry about or dirty heads in the drive. I will try the newest version of the firmware when I do the next drive, either way these drives are fantastic value and H.M should be VERY proud of his modification of the firmware and loader program

i have tried relokick 1.3 and it does work

but 141 seems better and you can choose how much chipram you want to use

can anyone try arcaniod 1 and 2 on a 1200 as i get graphics corruption on 2 and 1 wont load fully

i tried with relokick and without

the same versions work on winuae and on my a600 with gotek

thanks john for clarifying :)

Time for someone to hack the board to fit more nicely in the Amiga case.

Oh, ST uses the very same 720kb FAT12 the pc world used to, so just buy the 720kb version instead the 1.44Mb one and you are good to go.

Can you PM me the adf file names you used please?

I tried one of them last night on my 1200 without relokick and it worked perfect.

The is a new firmware out again for this drive

1.04a 2K14/03/05 – 2 digits/74HC164 based 7 segments display support added. 4 seconds disk change delay disabled at power up and at the selector exit.

Has anyone done it yet also can you someone tell how you can jump 10 images on the drive that's if you can

Wanting some of these for my Atari STE's but looking on fleabay, well the cost is just too much for the 720Kb version! I may aswell just stick to the HxC until something is sorted out regarding the 1.44mb version.

I have a pair of 1.44mb units here, black and grey and just need to program them. I really do hope the author of the firmware gets the Atari version sorted :)

My new drive arrived today, I tried altering the speed of the Com port with device manager to no avail. I finally had success using the reset option ie a wired push to make switch and updated my original drive and the new one to version 1.04a but its late now so I will see how it runs in the morning.

Even using the reset switch, it is either good timing or pure good luck to get the software and the device to talk, maybe its my flasher that isn't up to the job but thankfully it does eventually get there :)

if it dont work first time just remove red power wire then re connect it works for me

I will give that a try next time I do one of these, there must be a better programmer for doing these without all the hassle though

The end results are brilliant once you get the initial connection working
