Since the source of "cheap enough" chips is scarce I beg you who show interest in more than one chip to have a diminution on the order to let everyone served.

When I started the thread I never think that so many people where interested.

Nathan at AmigaManiac is ordering some of the plcc 68010s in order to replace the surface mounted 68000 on the a600 board.

He is also incorperating this with the 14 mhz cpu hack. Coupled with some fast ram should make for interesting results.

I can ask him to take some piccies and post some info on the end result if there is any interest.

We're after the DIP versions, rather than the PLCC, but you make a very good point. I wonder if Nathan can get DIP 68010s in. Probably worth asking him.

The chips themselves will cost 10USD per unit, 22 chips bought. I'll need the money as soon as the sellers confirm the shipping costs.

Then I'll PM all of you with my Paypal address. Chris already sent me his address for receiving the chips for final shipment.

OK, sellers answered my question regarding the postage: after some heavy calculation, the sum is US11.90 for each chip.

Remember to send the money in gift form or the simple Paypal tax may abrade the required money to pay all the chips.

They all go to Chris's address, where he gently will re-post the items to final countries. All hail to Chris for his invaluable service!
