I was surprised to find a few treasures in a guys basement after responding to a local ad, stating that he had old working computers he wanted to get rid of. To my surprise: They all do !
Christmas came twice, and I picked up so much, that I need a few days to look through it all and post pics
1:We are starting off with the first beauty. The CMB 3032 with dual drive 3040, original manuals, what seems to be data from some company's accountant and "PET-TEK" -a workbook for mastering PET (printed in Norwegian) !! For this baby, I only paid the 20 calories it took to carry this sucker up the stairs !!
2: A dusty, yellow little 64c that came with about 100 unused 5 1/4" (two packs still sealed), around 100 copied games, 2 zipsticks, one buttonhandlethingy?, a bag of games, some software and Total Carnage for the CD32. Really nothing special about this one, I guess...saving the best for last.
3: My very first Amstrad. Yaay ! looks to work 100%. tested ok with 2 games. Schratches here and there, but nothing too bad.
4: Last but not least: Vic-20, with the CBM 1020 expansion case. The camera's flash overstates the white deliciousness, but it is not far from the truth
As you all can see, this must have been a primary work -and funhorse. The VIC has been fitted with a reset button and the case has been cut into as to help cooling...man i did not know those suckers got THAT hot. Well anyways, you can all see the pr0n in the pics.
Hooking the VIC up to my 55"pioneer did not provide a great picture :O ( I used RF to Nintedo rf to coax)
