Handheld Console?

I have bought Logetich G Cloud and let you know if any good!

Sony have Release new Playstation Portal handheld but you have connected to WI FI as such shame that you cant go anywhere to played it like PSP and PS Vita Console :)
Also bought myself a G Cloud Console a few months ago.
Absolutely satisfied with it - good grip, good size and screen, faster than I thought.

I play some Android games with it, also streaming X Box Ultimate, but mostly for Emulation.
Retroarch and others are your friend - Wii, PS Vita (Vita3K Emulator) are also working flawless. Using Beacon Launcher with it which gives it a minimalistic but perfect look.
Price was 300 Euro - you can get a Steamdeck for nearly the same price... but: Logitech 10 hours or more until empty at max load.... Steamdeck 1,5 hours.

When you compare emulation, then "max load" is completely irelevant ;). The deck is nearly idle when playing Aquabyss. I never run into low-battery-issues when playing Amiga-Games. But the deck can also run more or less every current game. And it can be used as spare-working-computer too.

Anyway - I will check out the G Cloud.

Second that, playing games like PS1 or even older PC games the deck offers reasonable battery life for it's size, sure will never get 10hrs+ but 4-6hrs is possible. I also lower game settings running on battery. We had a power cut recently, lasted around 3-4hrs and I kept playing fallout 4 until the power came back on lol.

For emulation and that battery life, I've had a lot of fun on my Nintendo New 3DS XL. It's a great little emulation machine. Plus, Nintendo exclusive games including the 3D capabilities makes it an amazing device for me. I don't doubt the newer handheld consoles like you guys mention are great, I'm just saying, if folks out there want something for emulation, the 3DS is an excellent choice.

I have had a few handheld consoles. Firstly, the Sega Game Gear, which I played a lot and completed Sonic The Hedgehog. Following that I skipped every handheld until the PSP came along. and managed to get my hands on the Japanese launch model when they first released. It sat on a shelf for the majority of the time i owned it, until I sold it. I have since had a couple more but, again barely used them. The last handheld I had was the 3DS-XL and that was and still a fun console, i played the crap out of Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus and the Zelda games. Since selling the 3DS I haven't touched an handheld since. The Steam Deck piqued my interest but, I am just not sure I would keep it for long. :)

My First Handheld console? Sega Game Gear with colums then bought Street of rages and Sonic games as it was amazing for Handheld of sega.

Second Handheld? PSP as when Rage Racer came out and blew me away as no handheld game console come close to it.

I forgot one, the Nintendo Switch but, this was my wife's, and i think i may have played on it a handful of times.

I've got a few handhelds..
  • Sony PSP Go
  • Nintendo 2DS Max
  • Miyoo Mini
  • Miyoo Mini +
  • Retroid Pocket 3+
  • Powkiddy RGB30
  • Anbernic RG35xx SP
Of those, the Retroid is the most capable (can emulate PSP easily, and a lot of PS2 games), but the RGB30 is the most playable, and my personal favourite of the bunch.

Had anyone try Oringal Rog Ally as they going in half price because of Rog Ally X coming out this month with better Batteries life.

Nintendo Switch 2 console going show this month and other
next gen handheld is coming along this year like rog ally 2 (before Xmas 2025) too.

I got a Steam Deck OLED a few weeks ago and have been addicted to it. I haven't used any of my other handhelds since I got it. It's really just ergonomically great, buttons feel great, OS integration is great. No complaints from me.

I have seen Acer release their Handheld but 11 inches handheld is too big.

That is Acer Handheld

Lenovo Legion Go S

Had anyone try Logitech G Cloud that longer batteries out of any Handheld modem console(I seem think Gameboy black and white console have longest batteries life between 5 hours to 30 hours back in 90's! )

I'm not a huge fan of handhelds to begin with, mainly because I don't use them but, I agree, it is a bit of an ugly duckling. :D
