Hi all,
just after I finished school in 1985, the Amiga 1000 came out and I had a small job writing C on it, with two floppy drives and - if I remember correctly - Aztech C. I quickly moved on to Unix and mini computers and did not have a home or personal computer ever since. Fast forward 40 years: I won an Amiga 2000 in a raffle, and am now in the process in building it out to be a somewhat complete system. It came with a GVP G-Force 030 but not much else, so I'm in the process of building some SIMMs to max out the memory, find a flicker fixer and install more modern OS on the BlueSCSI that I've installed. I'm also considering to find a bridge card so that I can get rid of my XT clone and save some desk space. I'm not much of a collector, and I want the systems that I have be ready to run, putting space at a premium.
Looking forward to learning Amiga stuff here.
