Hi everyone!

I'm Greg Mitchell, new to AmiBay, and have spent the past 8 years catching up on the Amiga scene. My first Amiga was a 500 in 1989, and then a 4000 in 1993 as I started to work with the Video Toaster and Lightwave. I always dabbled in Lightwave as I transitioned to PCs, and it ultimately helped revamp my career by 2005. I've had an appreciation for it all ever since.

I started re-collecting Amiga's in 2006 when I found a 500 at a flea market. I'm now up to 5 including a 4000 with a Video/Toaster Flyer setup, but eventually will thin it out. It sure has been fun fulfilling my desire for Amiga power from the 1990's - photo below. :)

Thanks for having me here!

Cheers,
Greg

Just picked up a Flyer myself. Been years since I edited on one. Got any tips and tricks to get this up and running?

Sure! I'm happy to try and help though I had my own trials getting my system up and running.
What's the specifics of your system - Amiga, hard drives, any Toaster or Flyer accessories?

Amiga 3000T and 4000D. Both have complete VT 4000 + Flyer. Scsi drives in the A3000T have failed. So thinking about replacing with ZuluSCSI. I have no monitors or adapters, so looking for recommendations there. Not sure if I need TBCs since I have the Flyer. I can send you an inventory of both systems.

Nice! I've had success with using SCSI2SD V6 on my A4000 Flyer but I understand it's been a challenge for some others (though I think the consistency comes from using the latest firmware updates). I see others having success with ZuluScsi.
Let me know if you want to open another thread on this or take it private since this is the 'Welcome' channel. ;)
