Hi All,
Got my first Amiga in 1992. I have and Amiga 500, 600 and 3000. All have been sitting in boxes for 20 years in my parent's attic. Decided it was time to bring them back to life. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

First and foremost, I would advise you to remove the RTC battery in the a3000 and a500, if it's a a500+

I'm seeing green on the chips next to the battery on the a3000.

Remove the battery and apply white vinegar to the affected area. This will help neutralize the battery "acid".

Welcome from Michigan and take care of that 3000 as the VARTA can destroy her. Luckily these days there are ReAmiga boards for the 3000/4000/2000/500/1200/CD32 in case your system is critical/terminal and needs a heart transplant.
