I feel like I've been ripped off. No floppy disc. No serial number.

Nothing.

Look closely at the shrinkwrap for a small white label ... If it's missing then check inside the case, including behind the cd and the case insert just in case they stuck it there instead.

When you buy OS3.2, there should have been an option for a floppy disk to be included. If not then either it wasn't available as an option or you didn't select it.

It is 100% not there.

Bought it from RetroPassion.

There was no option for an install floppy or else I would have selected it.

There is your problem… Never will buy from that company ever again… Someone over on Amiga.org is also trying to contact them, without success. Yet still pushing goods over on Ebay recently…
My advice. Should have bought from a more reputable Amiga Reseller…..

Victim blaming isn't a good look.

How was I supposed to know he was a ****?

Sorry Bud… Hindsight. I was under the impression people were aware of this reseller?
Best bet is try to PM over on EAB if you are a member. Or try and find a sale he is doing on EBay and try there.

He is selling this on EBay

Good luck 🤞🏻

I actually bought a few things off him before and the service was good. Hopefully he can sort something out for me.

Am I right in thinking I only need the serial number to register for updates etc?

Yes. As you need to them to register with Hyperion Entertainment to download any of the OS3.2 updates.

If you really want an old school original experience, changing the floppies and everything... get yourself a greaseweazle. Hook up one end into your PC via USB, other end onto any PC/Amiga floppy drive and write some floppy disks with it, from disk images, such as ADFs included on the OS 3.2 CD-ROM. Voila, now you got yourself a shitlot of OS 3.2 floppy disks you can use on your Amiga.

Stuff it in a nice box and become addicted to piles of floppy disks once again:

That's overkill. Got a PC floppy so gonna use the magic of CrossDOS to get the install3.2 adf onto an Amiga floppy.

If that doesn't work you can also use AmigaExplorer to write ADFs from PC with your Amiga. Working Amiga with working floppy drive and a null modem serial cable required to hook Amiga and PC together. Also works over ethernet if you have a TCP/IP stack running on your current Amiga setup.
