I bought a not really very cheap 500W unit off Ebay and thought it must be good enough. Turns out it wasn't. The +5V line is so bad the machine just doesn't boot
I can say avoid all the Cit M-500U mATX PSU's on Ebay right now, but what i'd like to know is can anyone recommend a good mATX PSU for my fully loaded PPC A1200? It draws around 6.2 Amps on the +5V rail and I think the main problem with the Cit was the Voltage amount. It measured 5.01V with no load which I think is too low (My wonderful but getting very toastie, APower is 5.23V without load). So I need one that has good Voltage too. I'm about to order this one here: -

As my general research leads me to believe Seasonic make the best mATX PSU's or at least are one of the best manufacturers. But before I lay down the equivalent of £58 on that PSU and find its just as bad as the Cit (doubtful, but you never know) I'd like to hear of anyone who has sucessfully converted an mATX PSU to use with a PPC A1200 system and in particular with a BVision installed, if you have, what PSU did you use?
Cheers!
