Closed IDE68K IDE Adapter for A500, A2000, CDTV

Could you please clean cpu pin with eraser and do you have any chance to test with another amiga

Following the A500 pictures above (plus some Googling, because I have Rev5), I was able to install the IDE68K and get the machine to start.

However, I cannot see the device in HDToolBox. I can _sometimes_ see "CC0" in the early startup menu, but only after a Ctrl+A+A reset.

The IDE68K came with a jumper. I've tried both positions, plus none. This is the kit I am using: CF Hard Disk Kit 2,5" - AMIGAstore.eu

I have an 8GB CF card, but I've cleaned it with DISKPART. I even tried adding an 80MB partition, but I get nothing.

This isn't working, or I've done it wrong.

Please help, anyone.

Can the card be larger than 4gb? I don't know that I have a size that small, but I might have another 8gb cf card I can try.

Sure i tested up to 16gb, and do you have any other amiga to test,

I ordered a 2GB CF card and that finally worked. There is either something wrong with the 8GB CF card that I received from AMIGAstore.eu, or my version of A500/KS/WB/WDToolBox can't handle drives that big. But all is well now.

I do have another Amiga, a stock CDTV with an AmiTrix SCSI-TV + SCSI2SD - and I really didn't want to mod it, so I'm glad the new CF card worked.
