I'm Bulgarian so I'm not voting but I don't see any reason for leaving. Yes UK pays membership fee but how much does it save on import fees when trading with EU? For sure there is immigration but I have the impression that the immigration is greater from non-EU countries. It doesn't matter for the ordinary people whether the laws are made in Brussels or London, they are still made by politicians that don't always make them good for the people. Anyway interesting to see the results...

OUT, from a professional perspective European Optometry is around 50 years behind UK Optometry and around 70 years behind USA. We have little in common with our euro counterparts.
From an economic perspective OUT, the UK is at risk of cross subsidising Euro countries and we should not be in a position to play second fiddle to Germany, especially considering a significant part of the German auto industry has now been found to be corrupt.
Finally, OUT as the government has declared it advisable to stay in.

I enjoyed that video Beavis lol, i'd comment on here but it would quickly get out of hand and the thread would get closed immediately. The reason we should leave is because this will be the last chance, if we do not take it we will be swallowed up by the EU and never be able to get out in the future as the mongs running the country want to sign over everything (and we'll be dragged into the Euro within a decade if we stay).
On immigration everyone thinks we want it to stop but it's not true we just want control of it to be able to refuse criminals and be able depot them if they break the law. Obviously the numbers need to be slowed down and lowered and social housing is a problem which should be restricted for 3-5 years after arrival. Most immigrants I see do not leech from the state far from it, everywhere you see Poles for example they are working doing jobs for minimum wage that a lot of Brits turn their nose up at. You don't see many foreigners on dole courses because they come to work, the papers just manage to find exceptional cases and then sensationalise them to sell their printed rubbish.

I personally think that this referendum is just something created to give the illusion of control to the average joe... I don't believe the real results will ever be published. There is to much at stake for greedy Cameron to ever push this through.
The fake result will probably be something like 45% out... so nothing will happen, and Cameron has kept his promise of doing a referendum.

I wouldn't trust the current government as far as I could through them, there's method in the madness!

If UK gets out after all, I will miss it. Over 75% of stuff I bought online in last couple of years was from UK.
Even if it is out, I am sure like when I buy stuff outside the EU from China that things can be declared as a gift for higher limits or the value marked lower on the packet to avoid customs. I know there can be insurance issues etc. with stating lower values on parcels but there are still ways to import/export.
My own job is based in an industry that revolves around the common market and standardisation so my mind effectively has been made up for this very reason.
Although sometimes it does not hurt to give the establishment a bloody nose to at least remind them that the people are and should be in control and not them.

Hehe, I'm not sure, if there's any truth to that but I've heard that one at least once before... like... 25 years ago they used the same "argument" as one of the tools to motivate the people to vote for the independence of Slovenia vs. staying in Yugoslavia. Well, guess what? We maybe have been a "big player" in the old country but on a global market we got rekt.
