Old people voted to leave and young people to remain ... the future of youngs has been choosed by old people ...
That's absolute nonsense. Something the media drummed up to stir the hive. I can tell you that almost all the people I work with that I've spoken to that are also in their late teens and early 20s all voted to leave. It's not a matter of age, it's what is best for your interests.

As I said, the tabloids talk crap. I'm speaking as someone who was told by late teens and 20-somethings that voted to exit and there were alot of them. Maybe everywhere else they voted remain but you can't tarnish all young people with the same brush.

No worries, nationalism and economic depression has never resulted into something terrible in Europe. The congratulations from Le Pen, Trump, Wilders don't mean a thing, and are perfectly acceptable. /sarcasm

The EU was founded with the aim of ending bloody wars between neighbours by creating a political and economical union... Stepping out of this gives a clear signal that most people don't realize.

You see, this is a problem I have with those in the Remain campaign. This was a lie told time and time again. The EU wasn't formed until the signing of the Maastricht Treaty in 1992. What were we doing for the previous 50 years? Arming for war?

WWII was the war to end all wars in Europe. There were a few blips along the way but the world has changed immeasurably since. You cannot credit the EU with ending war in Europe. After WWII there simply wasn't the will to make the same mistakes again.

The European Union was not created out of thin air in one go by the Maastricht Treaty... but was the result of gradual integration after WW2. So no, we were not arming for war but gradually unifying European countries in different steps and unions.

-> "The European Union is set up with the aim of ending the frequent and bloody wars between neighbours, which culminated in the Second World War. As of 1950, the European Coal and Steel Community begins to unite European countries economically and politically in order to secure lasting peace."

I don't credit EU for ending war... I credit it for keeping peace!

Older people might have been more likely to vote out, but it's probably a safe bet that millions more older people would have voted compared to under 25's as is always the case when it comes to voting. Older people can remember what it was like before the EU which is why they want out. All I seem to read is young people want the right to work in another country but when put in proportion next to none of them will ever work abroad (even though all of that will still be possible with work permits).

Answer u would be jailed and then i a good amount of the killed. Plus most of those countries u just would not go to not getting drawn the wrong way but most of Africa is now no go for whites and the middle East is not so far behind. Time we applied the same rules u either conform or u leave. Empty our prisons so we can spend the money re educating our own and reforming them and pour the millions left into school education to try to lessen the number of kids going to these places.

I would not worry about it my friend as the EU will collapse like a pack of cards its inevitable.

it won't though, there's too many committed to making it work, I thinks it's inevitable it will change, especially now, but not collapse. The U.K. Leaving is probably the kick up the ar$e the EU needed to prompt it to change......alias we will see

It was never going to change with us. We were never really wanted and was just a thorn in the EU's side, nothing we said was taken seriously and we gained very little from it.
What we need now, is strong leadership and one that's behind rebuilding our industry instead of selling it all off. Problem being at the moment, the lack of any leadership at all, the current bunch of political party's are all a joke!
Hopefully the turmoil that's happening within them at the moment will bring forth someone worthy.

I'm not worry , but you have to worry my friend !!! I know that EU is not super hiper excellent but in many things is very cool like traveling holiday , buying goodies from ebay uk for example , and other thing
when UK will get out from UE , buying from UK for me will be nonsens duty , vat , tax :-) and other problems
I do not like problems :-)

That's the main problem in this union. Lack of strong leadership. Weak leaders make weak countries. If you can't buy goodies in UK, you can allways buy in DE. Good luck when you don't speak german and they refuse to talk in English.
That happens a lot. At least with me.
If things are going to be ok with UK, we still don't know. This kind of situation never happened before.

To be honest guys there will be no change in buying stuff from the UK , I mean we are not moving to Mars lol.
And postal costs were and have been going up for the last few years here and in the EU, so be positive people , we are leaving a Club thats all ,and not killing the Golden Goose :)

I now have this image of a 'yodel' delivery service to Mars where they just fire a rocket from earth and it crashes on Mars leaving a pile of smashed debris where your pride and joy retro computer should be - a bit like their current service.......

The only difference will be that packages will have to pass via customs, and that you may or may not have to pay an import tax. Just like you have to do right now when ordering things outside of the EU.
