Hello, My name is Gábor. I am from Hungary.

I don't have too much history on old computers, but the fact that is my hobby now was kind of predestinated.

During the early 80s my father brought home a Commodore 64.
In my country it was a big thing as it have costed around a half year salary.
He was coding on it while I was playing. :)

Preatty soon he have sold it and brought a ugly XT home. I was very disapointed.
By the time some of my friends have also started have access to some C64 so we could have enjyoed it together, I have lost my already. :)
But this exactly have predestinated that I will have one C64 at one point in my life again!

It did happen a few years before. I saw one on FB, and have wrote to the seller that is a nice. Than he came to my office and showed me "The computer". Bought it instantly.

Without anything. Even a PSU.
Than I bought a PSU. It turned out that my 64 had no sound, BW screen, but it worked!
Than my colleagues who saw me buying this, brought me another faulty 64, so I have started to learn about the Commodore 64 and was able to make one 100% working Computer of the two.
Than bought a tape drive. (Until this point I could only run that I was typing in, and lost it when powered off)
Than while I was after parts and floppy, have came across a VC-20. Could not leave it behind.
Than came a A500, than and than and than I have realised that I was an addict already. :)

Later I have joined one of my other hobbies with this one. It was Microcontrollers.
When my daughters walked across the joystick wires and my 64 almost fell, I have made a wireless Joystick. Than a modem, than and than and than.... :)
These were finalized prototypes. Like I have never designed a PCB for them. I was using them as I have first soldiered them together on a test pcb and placing them inside a simple plastic box usually. But than my friends have asked me to make some of my devices also for them. So I made my first PCB design, than secound.... :)

Not only because the minimum order on PCBs is usually 5 pcs, so usually I had some extra devices, but is also fun to see others using them, I have found myself in a situation when I was continously making them.

That is how "ZGCS design" have started.

I don't know where this will end up, but until I am enjoying this, I will not stop for sure! :)

Thank you for allowing me in!

Is nice to be part of this!
