Hope it isn't the same deal as C64c. Would like something different. Maybe a Golden, or Metallic, or Black Vader Edition.

Black Vader Edition would be fantastic! And have laser engraved (black) text on black keys for the keyboard.... ultra stealth!

The poll for the 128 was for the all-in-one, right? Not the 128D?

They look great SkydivinGirl! Can't wait for mine to arrive, shame I live so far away from everyone else!

Received my red case #478 last Friday but discovered that the crappy old C64 original style keyboard won't fit the new case. Guess I'll have to find a very beat-up but still working newer style 64 instead. The case is very well done other than a couple of spots where the mold needed to be polished a bit more. However, I worked in an injection molding shop for a number of years so that sort of thing still catches my eye.

Odd that you say that the old breadbin keyboard won't fit inside the case, all other accounts that I have read online state that this wouldn't be a problem. Do you need keyboard stands or something? You can pick up some 3D printed ones from here: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/Pixelwizard?section=Parts+for+classic+C64+computers&s=0

Anyone else get their cases yet?

Still waiting here.
If you ordered a clear case then you need to wait longer to get all of you cases because a fire destroyed the first batch of clear cases.

Thanks Heather. That's the reason.

I see they are back on track.

Got the clear started. Should be done end of the week.

Hope to start shipping soon.

So just a little longer I guess.

All the cases are $35 except for the clear, which was $40. He may sell more once he is finished fulfilling all the Kickstarter orders but he hasn't committed to anything yet.

I received my "white" and transparent C64C cases today, yippee!

In my haste to pull them out and inspect the cases though, I think I might have swapped around the sticker packs that come with it. One pack has white, blue and red stickers, while the other ones are different shades of brown.

Does anyone know if the white / blue / red stickers are for the basic colour cases, and the brown ones are for the transparent cases, or if it's the other way around? Both sets of stickers have different numbers on them — mine are 200-odd out of 500 for the white/blue/red, while the brown ones are 300-odd out of 5000.

The Red, White, and Blue cases were limited to 500 while the clear cases are 5000. Therefore, the red, white, and blue stickers go to your white case.

I expect to receive my cases (including a clear case) today as they just cleared customs yesterday after I paid the customs fee. Looking forward to seeing them. :)

All C64 keyboards are identical whatever they come from a breadbin or C model. Some of the C models require keyboard stands though which depend on the MB type. The new 3D printed stands mentioned previously is designed to fit all MB types.

This is not quite correct. I have found that C64C machines with long boards have a different length keyboard cable to C64C machines with a short board. This caused me a problem when I took the long board out of a C64C and put a short board in. The keyboard cable would not reach the connector.
