Kingston 4gb CF "write protected"

Hi folks,

got a new "kingston 4gb" CF card today as I want to use it as my primary hard drive for my A1200. Using my recently purchased (from here) PCMCIA adapter I fired it in and it didn't appear. Didn't appear in HD Toolbox either and when I went into CF Card Prep - it said it was write protected (which is something I didn't think you could do on CF). Any ideas what's wrong here?

My other CF's work fine...

Plug it into your pc and use diskpart to clean it. Had a few recently were preformatted in a pita way.
