Hey guys, I've realised that giving up my consoles altogether wasn't the best idea as I'm missing a few games that I used to enjoy as a way to relax.
Besides that though, I'm seeing owning a 360 as a possible incentive to develop myself as a programmer, with XNA and its indie dev support. However, I know that XNA is dead, but will it not be alive so long as the 360 is?
Another thing swaying my decision here is that Yakuza, is an awesome series I'd really like, and is only available on PS3. Does the PS3 have anything like XNA whatsoever? Most other games I'd like are multi-platform, but not PC still.
Given next year will be focused on Apple development, and AI with Prolog, I may just be giving myself extra work for nothing trying to do something with XNA on top of things. Perhaps I should just see the consoles purely as a way to unwind...
Input please?
