Sold Mirage Pro Tower + Mediator4000D

Hi!

Today I have decided to let one of my Amiga projects back into the wild, this project is about 2 years in the making so I'll be really sad to see it go but have decided to move away from such high end Amiga's and get back the investment.

The following items are included in the sale:

• A4000 Rev-D Motherboard with built in 030+FPU, all capacitors replaces, non leak coin battery as standard - Fully working 100% Buster 11 & 3.1Roms
• Cyberstorm PPC, 060 50mhz & PPC330mhz (upgraded by Stachu100) fully loaded with 128mb Ram
• UW SCSI-IDE bridge & round cable with active terminators
• Mirage Pro Tower from Elbox, excellent condition
• Mediator 4000D PCI Busboard
• Radeon 9250 PCI & Realtek 8029AS LAN for OS4.1 Classic
• Voodoo 3 2000 16mb & FM801 Sound Card for OS3.x
• PCI SATA Card (only supported in OS4.1 Classic)
• Deneb USB (supported in both OS3.x and OS4.1 Classic)
• ZorRam 128mb (used as FastRam in OS3.x and Page Ram in OS4.1 Classic)
• All necessary cables & connectors
• Fully Boxed and original OS4.1 Classic on CD + installed on IDE HDD + Update6
• HD Floppy Drive (not currently installed)
• Optical Drive, TBC (not the one pictured)
• Microsoft Optical Mouse & USB-Amiga Mouse converter
• Lyra Keyboard adapter for PS2 keyboards (No Keyboard included)

For all of this I am asking NO LONGER FOR SALE everything is tested & working. CSPPC and loose Zorro cards will be removed for shipping and possibly sent as two parcels for insurance reasons. Please note outside EU you may have to pay expensive import taxes! Full value has to be declared for insurance purposes.



I am willing to split the following components: (don't ask for splits on any components not listed below!)

• Mirage Pro Tower + Mediator 4000D PCI & Radeon9250 = £495 (reserved for direktorn)

If the CSPPC & Mirage Pro kit are bought together I will include OS4.1 Classic & other PCI cards for free.


I'm not open to offers, prices are fixed.

I would like to keep it but unfortunately I need the money more than I need such a high end setup.

Just wondering what is your ideal setups to keep? I have been drooling over the amazing gear you have been selling for the last while and wonder how much more you were going to get rid of?

I am aiming for an A4000 with 040/060 my current A1200 and one Sam system (mines sick at the moment its away with Acube)

I have had both PPC systems in the past but found in the case of the A4000 one I had back in 1999 I could not find enough software to make it worth while and in the case of both of my A1200 ones found them too slow for OS4.1 so have come to the conclusion that 040/060 is the best classic hardware out there at the moment.

Hi! I will check shipping costs for you for the tower. I thought it might be unlikely to sell as a full set hence offering some items split. Don't forget in the bundle there are many smaller hard to find parts like the acard scsi ide adapter, lyra adapter. Remember CSPPC is also upgraded

Shipping for the Mirage Pro to Sweden will be approx £35 for the carriage and £20 to have full insurance (only £50 cover is included automatically)

It's a tracked service with 3 day delivery aim by ParcelForce. Other couriers like DHL/FedEx have very high rates for larger parcels like this.

Hi Al,

At the moment I'm certainly keeping my A4000D, Micro AmigaOne and A1200/GREX/BPPC(this is my main setup these days) and my smaller projects like A600/CD32. And of course an A1200 with 030 for WHDLoad

OS4.1 Classic is much faster on the A4000 than the A1200 PPC due to the 64bit Ram and I guess with the Zorro 3 Bus on the A4000 you get better access to installed PCI cards, etc. That's why I got rid of my Mediator 1200 and went GREX on my A1200.

You're aim sounds like an idea Amiga collection, a bit of everything and not OTT like mine has become, hence some of the clear out

I've decided to keep my CSPPC for now. If I decide to sell any other parts I will list any them in new threads.

I don't see it selling as a whole setup so consider it no longer available.

I will leave this thread open for direktorn to complete the purchase of the Mirage Pro & Mediator should that deal not proceed I will close the thread.
