Well got my Gotek drive last week and fitted it in to my custom painted Cherry Red A500, I painted this early in the Year but the floppy drive was broken so I have been waiting to get this finished, I had to go and buy a TV as I don't have a Tv in the house with Scart on it so here it is all done.

I like the cherry too. What are the keys from or did you do something crazy and paint them too?
Also, you appear to have an Amiga in the background, with a desktop that looks rather Linux/Windowsy - a trick?

How do you find the durability to scratches with the painted surface?
To be be honenst I never even think about it at its a computer, I do my best not to let anything bang against it as you would normally, but it is lacquered anyway so that would give it a bit of protection from any mishaps.
Just to add you do tend to take extra care knowing it is painted but it's not like it would be moved a lot I normally never touch my computer apart from typing of course...
and with this having the gotek drive you don't even have to put floppies near it.
