Up for grabs is my Netgear WN1000RP range extender. Basically you plug it into a mains socket somewhere between your router and the black-spot and press the WPS setup buttons on your router and this device. The device then sets itself up as an extension of your WiFi, giving you a new access point. This new access point is configurable to give it a new said or password should you wish.
It supports up to wireless n at 150mbps, which is standard for these devices.
It was used for a short while to assist my neighbour use my WiFi when they had broadband problems and is now surplus to requirements.
I do have most of the packaging still available. Looking for £15 Plus post on this. Post should be £3 1st class in the UK and if you want recorded another £1. I doubt it will be much use outside the UK.
Googling the part number will show you what it is... and probably a better description of what it does
