Greetings Kinchan,

There is a new firmware, but only useful if your hard disk unit uses a tiny SD card holder;
previous units come with a SD card holder with a buffer chip, this chip prevents higher SD card clock usage.

While new SD card holder allows faster data transactions.

The usual problem with power sources is solved!


Solution: MicroUSB port cannot be used, instead, now each hard disk unit is provided with its own soldered USB cable.

Yes, it can be installed in any of the units; for both Revision A or B
Revision A are the ones with larger SD card holder, surely your unit is Rev. A


Simply, as the image of 17 May shows (at first post), a common USB cable with one of the
end sides removed is being soldered to 5V and any GND pinout of the blue board.

There are four wires inside an USB cable, two for power, and two for data.

The two remaining wires of the USB cable, the data ones, are being ignored.


In order to secure the new power cable, a plastic flange is being used
to firmly attach the power wire to one of the DB25 case holes.
