Hello Amibay user!
My name is Howard and I have been interested in computer programming and architecture since 1982. I worked an programmed on VAX mini's in high school and purchased my first IBM PC  in 1984; a model 5150. But oh, how I wanted an Commodore or Atari at the time. I didn't purchase my first Amiga and Atari until 1986 while doing programming work for a business in Brooklyn, NY. I was actually programming on those systems as well as an IBM PC AT. It was the AT that I ran my BBS system on while in my Junior and Senior years at college. Fast forward 30 years and I have now re-found my love of the old 8 and 16 bit machines. There really is nothing like the rich history and architecture of the Amiga. I lost my old Amiga while moving from college to NYC, but have since picked up an A1000, A500, A1200 and A2000. I managed to save all my old programs so that was lucky; I could not have replaced that work!
