I will also say that it seems like people are being pretty darn patient, all things considered. Those who receive their cases are excited and talk up and down about how cool it is. What more do you want?
If this campaign were mismanaged the way you think it was -no one- would have gotten A500 cases.
Lots of things are techically doable.@Amenophis :
what do you think of the idea discussed earlier in this thread, about adapting existing A1200 cases to accomodate an A600 mobo?
Can the A600 use an A1200 keyboard or A1200 keyboard replica with an adapter?
You think our cases DO yellow?
Be nice, I'm nice.
I’m sorry but you are not a king/queen as a customer in Central Europe. You have as many rights as given by law. Let’s not exaggerate. Here in the Central Europe if you decide to run a company, you shall be aware the customer is always right / customer is king.
First of all, thank you for renovating the bodywork of the immortal amiga.Lots of things are techically doable.
But is it the direction to go?
- Adapting cases ==> molds retooling. To what extend I can't say... we'd need to inquire engineers and make a CNC proto to see things
- As for keyboard, we have a Mech keyboard that is going to show up after A500 cases are all out to contributors. An A600 variant isn't out of the question if you were thinking at it.
Honestly I think the 600 didn't get much love compared to others..
What you guys think?
Nope. all my Amiga will be free after my death (including the 600's!). Might take a while though, touch wood...Nice, Rakeim132 about to open a new Amiga shop in Australia![]()
