does on AMD systems and gddr3 vs gddr5 for current benchmarks don't apply, as that doesn't touch the processor.

I'd guess the systems are gonna be pretty even overall.

Neither are AMD systems just APU's.

There's a reason GDDR is preferred for graphics cards. MS has opted for the 32mb fast cache to try to make up for the use of DDR3.

Anyway, the difference will be in services and exclusives

One things I dislike is that you have pay PRE OWNED FEE on Xboxone which I think is Wrong!

IF PS 4 doesnt charge Pre Owned Fee then It is Game Over MS as everyone would go over PS 4 but just wait and see what happen because PS 4 might sell Pre Owned fee which if that happen then I will stick to PS 3/XBOX 360

On the other hand, the wii u will have an even tougher time given both competitors share the same, but different, platform.

Based on the few specs available, the gpu computing power is five times higher on the ps4 than the wii u. that ought to account for something.

I don't care that PS4/One don't have BC, but it boggles my mind that their activation/validation systems seem so archaic. It's not that difficult to do a fair use system, that people wouldn't mind so much. Don't go all in from the start - just dip yer toes

Given the GPU in the PS4 is made by the same company - and higher end, it shouldn't be a problem. And accounting for that the wii u has 2GB of memory where 1gb is used for the os, you can imagine that it will be a bit more constrained than the 8GB of the ps4 where also 1 is used by the os.

however they manage to get the extra oomph into real performance is left to the designers,. but it'll do everything the wii u can do - just faster.

Kinda pulling for Sony though, Xbox One sure is ugly!
