I've started using the Amiga with an A500 with Kick 1.2 in 1990, later on getting an A2000 and then an A1200 - the latter I still have, and recently upgrade with an ACA1232-33 (will probably have to go for an ACA1233n), RapidRoad, Indivision AGA Mk2, RTC clock, CF drive, new case and whatnot ...
Currently, I'm setting up Linux on this machine (zzzzZZZZ), and am hunting for a compatible PCMCIA card. Not that easy.
Might have to implement network support by implementing RapidRoad support for Linux
