If you PC still have a floppy drive, then you can have a chance.

Open the Storage/DOSDRIVERS drawer (that's how Amiga call folders/directories) and double click in the PC0 icon. This will mount support for PC-formatted 720kb disks.

Now take a 3.5" floppy and cover the hole where is no sliding cover with some tape (this is important when using the disk in the PC, later).

Put the disk in the Amiga and open a CLI (command line interface = Amiga DOS window = shell). You can invoke the CLI from Workbench holding the right big A key and pressing "E", then typing "newshell" (no quotes). Remember to press ENTER.

From shell type "Format drive pc0: name the_name_you_want_for_it_up_to_30_characters NOICONS" (no quotes, again). Click on OK for the warnings and wait for the disk to format and use it on the pc to save the archives you need on the Amiga.

Remember to never, ever decompress a .lha archive in the pc prior to use in the Amiga.
