PLCC plug for Agnus adapter

Since Ramesses II and Megachips are quite difficult to get nowadays, I am thinking of building one myself. When looking at this https://github.com/LIV2/A500-2Meg-Chip-ram/tree/PLCC the "weird" part is the PLCC plug, which is made by stacking a few pcbs and mounting pins one by one, which looks painstakingly annoying. Is there any reason not to use something like the part linked below?

It looks like that plug can indeed be used

In the BOM for the board I link to some plugs from adapt-plus and winslow but they're quite expensive - it looks like you've found a good priced plug though!
