OK, since you're asking... The 5363 I own was sent to me with barely any protection other than being inside a carton box packed together with a couple of IBM keyboards. To my surprise everything arrived in one piece (OK, a number of keys of course had fallen off the keyboards, but luckily nothing broke in the process) despite the lack of proper protection and the courier guy not being exceedingly careful with the box either.
The 5363 was worth a few thousand dollars back in the day...
Sorry about this, just some people use their head to wear hat and eat in. I wonder, why don't wrap this book with bag tightly and use some cellotape to fix bag. Done.OK, this gotta be the worst packaging I've received up to date. A hard cover engineering book from Amazon (second hand). What was he thinking? Luckily the book is intact.

That is the advantage of ebay. Is it worth the price premium?? Who knows.Bought some thru-hole ICs from a commercial seller on ebay lately. They were sent in a normal envelope and a plstic bag inside, no foam or anything else to protect them. Needless to say, they looked like SMD parts when they arrived as the pins were all bent or broken off completely. Seller didn't even bother answering any e-mails I sent, so I sent a foto of it all to ebay and my money was promtly refunded.
