That time again (I hit the thrift stores around town every 3-4 weeks, just to get out of the house really...something to do... also had a medical appointment in NE Calgary on Tuesday anyways)
Recently added a couple stores to my journey, a Goodwill that was added recently to the area that also had a Value Village open in the past year or so. also discovered a WINS store across the road from that, plus a Dollarama store and a 'Buy & Sell Store' pawnshop/2nd hand store. which brings the number of thrift/2nd hand stores I can access to about 15. (4 Value Villages, 2 Salvation Armys, 3 Goodwills, 2 WINS, 1 MCC and 3 'independent' stores)

Like them speakers reminds me of the pair my brother had with his old Amiga setup, think they had a different name though.
I had a pair very similar to them speakers for a PC back in the 90's.
I didn't have a set of these back in the day, but my parents did (I was the one who built/serviced their machines). and these were awesome speakers for a PC back then , especially given the price. (I think they were sub-$70 back in the mid-90s)
120W PMPO on these ones (so I am guessing the '75' in the model referring to it's RMS being 75 (well, should actually be 84.8 but, whatever)). and they were dirt cheap at the thrift store I found them in.
Zoltrix did some pretty cool stuff for pretty cheap back then, I seem to recall thier SB 'compatible' cards being around $19 when the 'budget' SB was about $45.
was looking through some issues of PC Format from the mid-90s and happened to come across this... (I believe 30GBP was around $60CAD in those days...)
