Ooo, the tree-based internet of the 70's, very nice condition too. My parents still have that exact version in the bookshelf back home.

Bryce.

Really is nice to sit and thumb through the pages Bryce when ever my friend and I had a disagreement on a subject he would run to the paper google book shelf :D

So true demolition how ever heavy you think they are it's more believe me

I haven't checked them out in a loooong time, but I seem to remember that my parents had a few extra "Childrens Encyclopedia" books as part of the set, but they may have been an additional option.

I have 2 science future books also with the set:

And 2 index book's which have over 400.000 references.

Received my Blizzard 1260 today and a full fat MC68060RC50 chip, both in lovely condition, as part of an upcoming project :coffee:

A little bit different, but after what seems like an age waiting for BT to get their act together, I finally got my FTTC connection up and running.

7 days stable without any dropouts and holding maximum sync speed too :p

WiiU Premium. Came up on Facebook Marketplace near me for £<Snip>. Now fully modded with two 1TB USB HDD's containing a backup of pretty much everything Nintendo I ever owned since NES. Just invested in a USB->GameCube adapter so I can use the GameCube controller with Nintendont

Received a MechBoard64 today (mechanical C64 keyboard). Feels very nice and sturdy. Very professionally made. I just need to figure out which keycaps I want to use with it. I backed the IndieGoGo keycap campaign years ago, but I have lost hope that it will ever result in anything. :)

Found this curious looking keyboard locally, I can't really identify it, but it's fully PS2-compatible and feels like it's at least partially mechanical. Looks kind of like Model M, but it's much lighter and without detachable cable. The type is KPQ-E99YC.

Well, despite some major sleeping issues (I used to work late-evenings/nights because of them), I managed to drag myself out to do a thrift shop run (and partly to force myself to stay awake, to attempt to force myself back to some semblance of 'normalcy')

With some assistance from RuneRider, I have finally managed to procure a functioning Atari 5200.

Along with the 5200 I received a Trak-Ball controller which needs a little work (the buttons all appear to work fine, but the roller has issues, the bottom row of pins on the connector were a little mangled, and are among the connections which control the pots (9-11), and/or the roller ball rollers/contacts may need fixing)

as well as a bunch of carts:

Centipede
Super Breakout
Pengo
Pac-Man
Pole Position
Jungle Hunt
Joust
Vanguard
Q*Bert
Popeye
James Bond 007 (non-functioning)

I will have to track down a couple of working (or fixable) controllers (hopefully for a reasonable price)

Today I received a BeBox.

I found a post on Reddit of someone looking to sell theirs at a cheap price, as long as it would go to a good home. The post was 3 years old, and had a bunch of replies, but I figured I'd follow up anyway. I really wanted a BeBox. It turned out the owner still had it. He lived in a small town in France, and would only take IBAN. I've sent IBAN twice in my life, and each time my bank calls me and gives me a lecture about buying stuff from people I don't know... So there was a little more of a struggle to use it this time around. US should really adopt the standard.

It took a month and a half to get the transfer done, the package picked up from the small town, and it shipped to me, but it all arrived in one piece!

I also got some components for my Amiga 3000T project - new kickstart roms, new classic os, fastata card, network card, and bigram plus (which nobody needs).

Always wanted one since they were new. Good score, and worth the hassle.
