nice...

back in 1984-85 I had the SX64 sound module and keyboard, I got the optional midi cart and at the time for me the brilliant CZ101, loved it but found its low polyphony a bit of a grind. but hey that's all I could afford saving up my milk round each week and leaving payments at a Liverpool music shop until it was paid for, took me months to save up and buy it :)

Nice :) Casio's CZ series is something I'd like to look into at some point, it's kind of the separated-at-birth twin of Yamaha's FM; seems to have a bit more of an edge to it from the examples I've heard...

OK can try this..

I Just bought an Indivision AGA MK II fråm a swedish store.
And also an Bigram+ 256.

Found an old slot cover plate and modified it to hold the DVI connector for the indivision..
Works like a charm (just little to much overscan in the lower region of the picture but will experiment a little with the settings.

Need another SID chip now.

Nice DC Tokyo, where did you get the case from?
Thanks, it's an eBay job, they seem to be rare as the 'proverbial rocking horse poo' to find at a reasonable price. I had to shell out a little more then I'd have liked but alot less then what people ususally demand from these. 'Least now I don't need to worry about retr0brite. :)

On another note:

PC Engine GT:

Needs a fair bit of work doing. The screen is in terrible shape, the caps certainly need to be replaced and probably a few other small bits. Though it does seem to work, just badly ATM. (No idea what the button on the right does.)

Nice :) I've become a big fan of PII-PIII-era laptops; they aren't might powerhouses anymore, but it seems like that was really the peak for laptop build quality, and it's all been downhill from there...

exactly old laptop DELL or IBM was very strong machine high quality electronic component good tantalum capacitors , old laptop still works new laptop is good in 2 years warranty , and next go to recycled with him

Ain't that the truth!

I'm selling a Toshiba laptop from that era at the moment, and it still works perfectly. I've also got spares from a much more recent ThinkPad, which snuffed it after only a few years. Bring back laptops built like tanks!

It's facking huge! Almost goes outside my bedroom...

But the best thing is it's rekindled my love to play. That Casio 'toy' was doing me no good at all! Love playing now that I've got something 'serious'. :)

It is because of cheaper laptops. if you buy the business laptops (or macbook pros) you'll have laptops that last years with daily use. Like the t-serie thinkpad.

Finally, finally, after four months of trying to save for it (damn bills!)...

Roland Super JX-10
Oh my God is this thing a beast. The guts of two JX-8Ps in one 76-key synth, with up to 12-note polyphony in whole or split mode, but even better in 6-voice layered mode, with four oscillators, four envelopes, two LFOs, and two filters per patch! It does some monster sounds, and can even do some nearly digital sounds along the lines of Yamaha FM. And I got it with the PG-800, which greatly improves the ease of editing, and five additional memory cartridges :)

I'll tell you what, my car could explode and my house collapse and I'd still be in a good mood right now :D

That switch is most likely a region switch mod.
