just a couple cool(ish) thrift shop finds this week...
unfortunately retro console/computer stuff is becoming non-existent at the thrift/second hand shops and garage sales (and if they do show up there, they think it must be made of gold)
HeroQuest: Return of the Witch Lord Quest Pack (nearly new, figures and cardboard counters and such still unpunched)
and a copy of the May 84 issue of Heavy Metal Magazine (i always love finding good comics and mags from my childhood/early teens)
also 3 Asterix & Obelix books (i grew up loving Asterix & Obelix and Tintin as well)

Just got about 200 boxed Amiga games. One never opened, still sealed (Star Command), most of them are in surprisingly good condition, only few are teared etc. And also A500 and A2000. Still sealed in box memory expansion AdRAM 505. A500 looks like it was never opened (is there a screw behind that large silver label in the middle of the bottom of A500?). A2000 has some battery damage, not too much though, just visible discoloration of PCB, still works 
The sad thing is, that it is apparently only a small portion of the original collection, the owner numbered each game and the largest I've seen is in the 900's. The owner decided to move and put it all on yard sale, didn't sell a thing, gave most of it to neighbor's kids and his nephew got the rest and at least put an ad on Craigslist. If I only knew about this yard sale, the boxes have written on them like "Atari 800xl", "C64, Vic and +4", "ST and IIc DD" etc....

Spotted this at the recycle center and got it ultra-cheap. Literally the only thing wrong with it is a ding on the front side of the bottom half (well, not sure how good the battery is,) and that doesn't even impair its ability to close and latch! Screen's clean and no dead pixels, hard drive works and everything
If I'm reading the MorphOS hardware guide right, this is a supported model, so booyah!

Got a neat little 1mb chip ram upgrade for my spare A600:
So now she's packing 2mb chip and 8mb fast, this is Classic Workbench 68k with the 1.3 theme btw
She also had a retr0bright session recently!
Lastly a 1mb chip Ram upgrade for my A500+, I don't know if it works yet. I'm still waiting for the ACA500 before I dig it out again
That's it for now, nothing too extravagant these days

One of Petro's NOS A1200 turned up today! About two hours ago infact but I am building up to open the box lol
I am undecided whether to do pictures or an unboxing vid (sad I know) but I never had a brand new amiga back in the old days.
