I already have 5 GBA SP consoles (NES edition, Silver, Pink, light blue and dark blue) but they are all the front-lit AGS-001 models.

Well this just arrived today fresh from the USA. Yes, it is a AGS-101 back-lit model. The screen is actually nicer than of the Gameboy Micro.

Sooo, i THINK i now have every model of Gameboy. Not every color but every model.

Now a compatible psu and video cables came for my pc engine. Only lack the everdrive. I'm rather curious if my tv set likes the ntsc signal, but I have no hucards to test with.

Korg MS-20 Mini
Finally, finally, after fifteen weeks of waiting, it shipped Wednesday and got here this morning. Totally worth the wait :D It's well-built, not "Mini" enough to be a problem, and sounds incredible. What a funky little machine! It just naturally lends itself to squelchy, weird, funky basses and leads. It's great for crazy effects stuff, too, thanks to the patch panel. (I do wish it had an option for multi-trigger on the envelopes, though - ah well.) All this and MIDI - quite a deal, certainly better than shelling out the going rate for the original MS-20 on eBay.

I am so stoked :D

Ahhh Game & Watch Crystal!! I've sold off a good part of my G&W collection but when I was collecting I never managed to get one of these rare babies from the Crystal series.

Very VERY nice!

I got Sonic the Hedgehog for my Megadrive the other day and was able to finally give it a test. Works great!

Have to write to Santa about Everdrive MD or Mega Everdrive!

I received "Vampire 600" card. I think there is no sense of putting here a photo of this card. Most people knows it from other posts and project site.

Indeed, it looks way too grey to match the original color imho. And what's that peeling off from the edges of the label? Protective plastic?

Yes, but this is (supposed to be) an A2500UX, which is pretty damn rare (the A3000UX for instance is far more common).

As far as I can see from other images on the web they werent sold with a random cheap slap-on sticker, but with a decent label that matches the original A2000 color.

makes me wonder if they did some 'after market' upgrades and put cheaper stickers on....

The 2500UX sticker is original. I've seen it myself back in the day. AFAIK it was retrofitted on the machines made in Germany, as Commodore sold them with Unix on it.

I remember I was horrified to learn this as a teenager since I couldn't for the life of me understand why someone would forfeit the lovely Amiga 2.x OS for the almost malicious seeming Unix. :)

With Linux, my *nix appreciation of that OS family has only slightly improved :-P

I jest :)

But I remember it as my first meeting with an A2500, I took it apart (to the owners horror), only to conclude that it was "a real Amiga", and that he could use it as such if he wanted. However, I did recommend him to get a 1200 or 4000 as (to my flawed knowledge at the time) they were "superior" machines

The A2500 guy got a set of WB disks from me, and we didn't speak again. I dunno what he did, I think he got himself a Mac but I think he had a disappointing first meet with Amiga.

But it is quite odd to see a 2500ux that came with tape drive and ethernet card without neither. and should also sport a 020 or 030 afaik. (well, one 3.5" has different color from the body so could have been removed at a stage)

I'd say that the tapedrive and ethernet card has been stripped from it. But yeah, when you mention it, they are missing. Well spotted agent!

I'm sorry to be a grammar nazi here, but I saw this and imagined all the people that might learn from it and make the same mistake.

Pretty horrific!

This should read:

"it is quite odd to see a 2500ux that came with tape drive and ethernet card, without either."

or

"it is quite odd to see a 2500ux that came with tape drive and ethernet card, with neither."

:coffee:

(I'm really sorry)
