EYES!!

qhaCoPq.jpg

These are for future sewing projects, and will be added to my bag of eyes, shortly.

... And yes, I do love the fact that I can legitimately say I keep a bag of eyes on my desk.

Just received this today.

I placed the opening bid on ebay never expecting to win as it was very cheap but it finished and here it is.

It was listed as untested as it didn't include a PSU but came as a boxed system with two controllers, rgb scart, RF cable, boxed sonic cartridge, Sonic poster, warranty card and manual. I didn't even mind if it didn't work (it does, i've tested it) as i will be putting my switchless modded console in the box anyway.

After putting my ACA500 inside a GVP HD8 case I decided I wanted to see the ACA500 instead of it been hid away but still wanted it protected from knocks so this case arrived a moment ago and I wasted no time in putting it together. I know it wont be to everyone's taste but I like it. :)

Looks good eroom although I still keep mine naked :D

+1 for the case as well :)

I got myself out of bed and went to the car boot this morning. Picked up some master system games but spotted this lot in a box unloved for less than a cup of coffee. I firmly believe it was sent by myself from the future as not only do I love Commodore but we also still have our AST Advantage Cyrix 686, so the manuals were a must! Shame the spine is busted but all the pages are there. Quite a rare find really.

Picked up this boxed 2600 with 4 games from Play Blackpool today, well chuffed!

Now to find out why the hell it flickers on my main TV (works fine on my crappy bedroom tv)

Happy to oblige!

Here is the main 'Darth' unit, pre-loved so has a little character! First job will be strip down and bath!

Came with one original joystick (just the one, sadly) which works fine just needs a scrub and the twin pair of Atari paddles:

As for games, got the original Pac-Man as displayed on the console box, along with Space Invaders, Asteroids and Donkey Kong!

I was so excited to get this home! Lol

Ah awesome nice one  It looks so stealth in black :)

That's the joy of getting a good old machine, giving it a good clean, get the dust out from the insides, and resurrecting it. It'll look nice when you've done it up. We need a photo thread of machines people have worked hard to restore.

I got out of bed early again this morning and went to a local boot sale in aid of charity, and happened to pick this bit of vintage hardware up. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Don't think it's ever been used, or if it has they've cleaned it up nice. Shame I've no hardware old enough to test it with :(

There is a guy on Etsy selling cool decals! I've placed this nice one on my rear car window :)

I put in a best offer quite below the asking price on this boxed Japanese Master System and it was accepted :)

Also bought Japanese Phantasy Star & Hang on My Card. Looking forward to hearing FM sound from Phantasy Star.

Looking forward to hearing FM sound from Phantasy Star.
I would highly recommend finding a way to hook up Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap to this, too. ;) Even though the Master System version was never actually released in Japan (only the later, slightly mangled Game Gear port was), the game does have FM sound for the Japanese hardware, which will only be played if it detects it's running on said hardware (it has issues with Western systems with FM mods if they don't also have a region switch).

Hi Ninja, I will grabbing one of Bock's Gender adapters so I can use western carts with it. I'm hoping I can get the master everdrive working on it with the adapter as some people say theirs worked and some report black screen on all roms.
