PM to Pgovotsos. Megachip assembled. Will go to ultrasonic cleaner tomorrow & tested when I'll back home. :-)

Which AGNUS do you need?

The board is designed for the AGNUS 8375. It has been tested with the revision 390544-01 (PAL). As the pinout of all 8375 revisions are the same, the Megachip should run with all of them. List below from a post of fordav1:

Agnus (2MB) 8375 R0 318069-18 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 R2 318069-10 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 318069-11 A500+(NTSC) and A600(NTSC)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 318069-19 A3000 (NTSC), A3000T (NTSC)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 390544-01 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 390544-02 A500+ (NTSC), A600 (NTSC)

318069-18/-19 are PAL/NTSC specific replacements for the 8372(A)B in the A3000 and are not pin compatible to the 390544-01 / 390544-02, they should be taken off the compatibility list.

318069-10/11 models (8375 R2) are pin compatible to the 390544-01/02 (8375 R0) with the exception of pin40, which instead of 14M (R0) is Vbb (R2) and ideally a 0.1 - 0.33 uF capacitor should be placed between it and ground (i.e. pin41). It may work stable enough without it (I assume in the current megachip design pin41 connects to nothing, just like on the A500+), but on A500+ models using the 318069-10/11 variants they factory-installed the cap (on the underside of the board) so there must be some merit to it :-)

The PCB needed to be modified. The footprint of the Ram chips were a little to large.
It works fine, but now it's much better for the assembling.

Production will be launch before the end of the month with also the A2000 version of the Megachip and the new design of my switcher which supports now the KS3.9.

I know you said do not put interest in A2000 version here. But I am verry interested and just wondering when would it be available and another question... is it possible to buy it fully assembled including agnus? Dont have one thats why Im asking. Thanks
