Hi everyone,

I'm a frequent user of this site, and I've often looked at the items listed for sale.
I'm interested in bidding on some of the items, but I'm not sure if this is allowed. Should I wait for the seller to lower the price, or is it possible to make a bid?

I would be very grateful for your help in clarifying this question.

Thank you very much in advance!

Unless a seller has stated they're open to offers then making a lower bid is not allowed.

In the case where the are open to offers you would declare interest in the thread and then make your offer by DM

According to the rules you cannot "bid" in a traditional sense. The flow is that if you think the current listing is worth it to you, you simply declare interest and agree to buy at those conditions (including price).

However, if the seller has stated (and only then) that offers are accepted then you are welcome to send an offer but only in a PM directly to the seller. In this case on the thread you just state: "Declaring interest, sending offer" or similar to be clear what your actions are.

However the seller is not obliged to accept your offer and might sell to someone after you in the interest queue in case that member simply declared interest (implying that the interest - as usual - is valid for the listed, full asking price).
