Question about Kickstart switcher

I have this old KS Switcher i had bought around 1997.

I forgot exactly how exactly you are meant to switch between Kickstarts. Whilst it does work fine I cant work out the pattern.

The switcher board (with 2 ROMS) fits over the Kickstart socket and has a wire leading to another board which fits over the CIA chip. I connected it to the LEFT CIA.

The wire between both boards is removable and can be switched round. Depending on which way the cable is fitted, when switched on it will either boot into KS2.04 or KS1.3. In my case KS2.04.
 
thats not really alot of info to go by,we would need to know the make and a picture.
 
Mine is temperamental. I think there is more to it than just ctrl amiga amiga.
 
AFAIK, nearly all ROM switchers that don't have an external switch use the '3-finger salute'.

Either with an extended hold-down say, 4-5seconds or, as in this case, multiple presses.

I've not come across any others...
