Actually John Carmack stated that it was Nvidia & ATI's fault that they arent up to date as what he would like them to be - if the drivers werent ready then they werent ready - simples. Since when does he have the power to command GPU makers to pander to his wims.
He publicly stated that RAGE work perfectly fine on iD's rigs...shame everyone doesnt have one of those...back to iD to the brunt the blame!

a set of drivers were agreed by nvidia and ati (these were used during testing) then before the release both nvidia and ati changed their drivers

It's a rare sight seeing a 6 year old console triumph over the PC in a new multi-platform game
The PS3 also doesn't have these issues
My biggest complaint is that it is too short and too linear, I much prefer a fallout style game where I can run round everywhere and do pretty much anything I want (well except kill children, so not a fallout game without being able to kill the wee blighters)
lol I agree , not sure about the little ens but yeah I prefer freedom in games. Waypoint naff me off a lot and that is the thing that would put me off.
Fallout 3 & vegas are still my fav games of recent years. I played fallout 3 to completion three times. The only time I've ever done that before was when half life 2 came out.

This game is sounding better and better the more you lot slate it compared to Fallout 3. Hate that game and it's lack of direction (I like the idea, just not the lack of focus on what to do next)
My copy has finally downloaded. It's one big download I must say, I remember just a couple of years back games were generally about 4-5gb.
