RC3 isn't too bad. The main GUI is much faster than old releases (still a bit sluggish).

1080p decoding is better than my 2006 T7200 Intel Mac Mini. But for reasons unknown to me it still doesn't like a lot of very high bandwidth streams. The Firefly BlueRay for example. It stutters like crazy.

I get a lot of "icon" corruption when it comes to downloaded thumbnails using the library. I don't think it is my SD card but you never know. Some shows/movies are fine others are corrupted.

I cannot get the latest TVCatchup v2.0 plugin to install but iPlayerV2 works ok.

Got mine as well 2 days ago.
Nice piece of hardware. Been testin' Apache, MySQL, Webmin, vsftp and they work really neat.
X works, but it's not that really fun imho.
Haven't tried Rasxbmc yet but will do soon :)

Fun times :)

seems like most of you have gotten OS installed on your Pi's already anyways.

Basically all you need to do to get UAE on it if you have debian on it, or a debian based OS, is go to command console and type in

sudo apt-get install uae

Same works for EUAE, just do the same again and type euae instead of uae

I'm unsure if there are other UAE distibutions running on it at the moment, might be worth googling to see if there are any other repositories that may have them in aside from those registered by default.

This is confirmed as an XBMC bug not a RaspBMC bug and is fixed in the next release.

I'm envious, I only got my code last week (and placed order) - I've been told I can wait 'up to 11 weeks' for delivery.

I am still waiting for mine and I dont know what I will be doing with Raspberry PI when I get them....

May Try on C sharp or Python

I found a USA retailer and ordered mine. Probably about 8 weeks out though. :(

Yep, she looks alive Jim! That panel on the left is a 2600mAh solar panel.
Dunno yet if it will be adequate enough with all the paraphernalia, but i have to get me an SD card first, and then plug it all up and find out.
Health and time permitting, i'll let y'all know. :)

salaxi54 that looks a good panel, couldnt you use a wireless mouse keyboard

Thanks John, it is my intention within the next days to get an SD card, all else is already available, so i'll just wait a bit to find out..
As you know, there's always some project running along, and time is more than precious! Pics were taken just now (11:20 pm) which means the solar panel is not powered by sunlight, but rather by room light. ;)

Already used some Logitech wireless keyb/mouse combo for the initial setup (and enable of SSH) then it runs headless just fine :)
I'm waiting an WiFi nano adapter to test it out tomorrow. So far working really nice
