Great stuff. I only got a hatchback and we need enough space for Sarah on the way back but it's got a big boot

Plus the rear seats split and fold down so you can still seat 1 or 2 people in the back.

Yeah that was my thinking too :)

I got my A1200 and Micro AmigaOne all setup and working as I want so that's good news. I stripped down all the megadrives and cleaned them so I have 10 megadrive II shells in my airing cupboard lol.

The C64 is ready to go, no work to do on that.

Just need to pack stuff up now so it's ready to put in the Car tomorrow

I thought that I was all sorted then as I was packing up managed to crush the connector for my MSX Scart lead. I never realised how bad my eyesight had got until I tried to solder the lead back together.

Sadly my new glasses wont be here until the end of next week.

Greets and Shouts too

I want to thank EVERYONE that helped with the show, putting the AmiBay table together and helping run the systems and tournaments!

Some personal hero's for me are

Kipper2k
Thank you for providing the use of some of your adaptors for the show - they were invaluable and a lot of people really enjoyed the experience that they provided

Joanna Gannon
For giving grand-pa Merlin a much deserved break from tending the AmiBay sale table =)

Merlin, Johnim, Justin, Fitzsteve, dj.echo, Cosmic Frogg, fatbob_gb and bigian
For tending the stall, helping with everything at the event and just making the AmiBay table a great place and experience!

r0jaws
Thanks for getting all that stuff for the AmiBay table. both Dave and I have lost brownie points from our respective misses for its storage... its worth it ;)

Yorkie4
For tireless efforts at the event since Wednesday, through stress and a lot of hard graft we made it.... oh and the couple of near-death experiences that we unfortunately shared on the drive home (thank you A17!!!)

Tournament Winner
Congratulations to Julian for winning the competition, Julian came from no where and entered the competition and managed to beating some stiff competition from both Replay's Peter and Retro Collects Adam to take the prizes of a Copy of SWOS and AmiBay T-Shirt and Baseball Cap!

Sadly we couldn't run the Dynablaster and linked Stunt Car due to some technical difficulties - however Sensi Tournaments went down very well after a few hick-ups on some systems and joysticks!

Sadly I didn't get as much time with the AmiBay crew as I wanted but it truly was great to meet up with everyone and I got to meet a few new AmiBayers at the show which is awesome!

Yorkie4 & Zetr0 for the PAC award :D

I shall work on the waggle machine for next time as have a feeling that unless we run proper compos we might not match up to the expectations that are put upon us by an event like this. It be a shame if we lost our regular appearance at the country`s première retro/computing/gaming thing and I`d hate to miss out on all the Cos play dreamers

the 1 thing I`d like most is a plan even if we dont stick to it atleast most of us will know whats sposed to be going on

still we pulled it of again, wish I could have stayed a bit longer to help u all finish packing up but as it happened I managed to get back to my parents and cat `conan` that night which was unexpected and much better than crashing on the floor. Big thanks to Mr Fribble aKa lurch proper friend and I`ll sort a 5.25" drive out soonish for you. Not sure what do about the joystick Yorkie other than :double

Would've hung around more but the lure of Retro Collect's stand was just too strong...
