Id offer my floor or sofa if you really want to go

Accommodation isn't a problem - if I was going, I would be stopping with a mate in Preston, the problem I have is travel .... oh and the fact that I won't be able to even afford to even feed myself once there after I've spent the money on my car.

Even if I do get it sorted, I'm well over budget already on this motor, not leaving me with any money for going to Play Expo

what car is it? age, spec etc

It's a 52 reg Peugeot 206 HDi 1.4l Diesel.
I had the RAC come out, they said it needed new glow plugs and the turbo pipe fixing, so got this done (total amount £190 to get this done)
Anyway, two weeks later, it was failing to start again, another RAC engineer later and this time they are saying that it's an air leak in the engine and/or the injectors - at the moment, eveybody has quoted in excess of £150 to look at this .... and I only payed £450 .... to top this off, the tax is due at the end of September and my insurance is due the months after.
I seem to have gone from one knackered car to another.

Are you sure it's not the head gasket, Duncan? Some Pug HDi engines are notorious for head gasket trouble. it could also be an air leak at the inlet manifold, particularly if it's one of those plastic ones.

We will also running a two daily DOOM LAN Tournaments for a group of PC's that Replay will be Providing.

Currently I am sorting out the 4x A600's for the primary tournament machines, A 1200 (with accelerator) for NSP Time Trials (on Projector).

So far -
A1200 is complete, 2 of the A600's are done.


At the moment for the Tournaments we will require -
2x A600's (TC is helping me with one of these)
4x A600 Fast Ram Adaptors
2x Null Modem Cables
16x Micro-switched Joysticks
4x 4 Player (Parallel) Joystick adaptors.
3x Amiga SCART Cables (Covered)

I will be putting up begging posts on the 'bay soon for some of the stuff

I'm considering bringing my A4000 and AmigaOne (a little worried for their safety over the weekend though)

Hey mate, should be plenty of room if you want to bring a few bits

Just me and Sarah in the Car and an A1200, 2x LCD TV + our weekend bag oh and some goodie for the stall (mags, etc)

I'll bring my A4000, etc to the next Amimeet but don't think it will be suitable for play expo...

I might bring my A600 with ACA630/Indi ECS as an example of an Amiga with modern expansions
