It wasn't great for retro gamers, for me it was more like a cosplay event with a few cabs thrown in. however i will be attending if the third host of retrogaming roundup is attending. Scrappy told me that Amibay might be doing a special event for Amibay members so i might consider that event over this. (if it happens)

If they allow us more space than we had last year, I could bring some more of my collection of systems along. I've got a few PCs that can be set up as emulators/DosBoxes as appropriate.

More retro this year, new stuff is going to be places in another area, cosplay is as well, more arcade, more pinball and me dressed as DOOM guy
(Last year I was Dan)
PC wise, they have a load of 386/486s that will be getting used for some LAN gaming goodness
The que problem last year will be sorted this year.
There should be a few surprises console wise

I enjoyed last years event. Need to do more Amibay specific stuff this year though. Definitely going (Joanna wouldn't forgive me if we didn't make a return after she enjoyed it so much last year and got a free DosBox PC from Merlin too!).

Were you at the same expo I was last October? It was massive, had hundreds of retro systems to play, 60+ arcade cabs loads of pinball tables it was a complete retro festival and the retro area alone at last years Play Expo was probably the size of the main hall at Revival. I'll be going without fail again this year it was great.

I was actually bulls**ting about not going. Everyone else was saying 'yes' so I thought I'd be different and say 'no' just to see what reaction I got... And good old Juvver didn't disappoint!
Honestly, I have no idea whether or not I'm going. October! I haven't even planned for June yet.
