I recently bought an Amiga 1000 with a Rejuvenator and while I was moving things around, I found another Amiga 1000 with another Rejuvenator!
So I'm selling one of them off:
Expert Services Rejuvenator with 1MB Chip RAM and 1MB Agnes on-board. By changing out RAM and adding a 2MB Agnes it can be made a full 2MB Chip RAM system (AKA Rejuvenator II)
A500/2000 style ROM socket currently fitted with version Kickstart 2.0 ROM (which obviously can be upgraded to 3.1 ROM and also supports common A500/2000 type kickstart switchers.)
Full ECS, with a Super Denise already installed.
Floppy based kickstart disks may still be used if you want, but when the ROM is active all 768KB of A1000 RAM (256k main, 256k front expansion, 256k kickstart reserved RAM) can be made available as Fast RAM, giving the Amiga 1MB Chip RAM, 768kb Fast RAM before adding any 3rd party RAM expansions. Another advantage of booting using the ROM is that it allows auto-booting from hard disks.
Condition - fully working except for the on-board clock. Similar to many 2000/3000/4000s, Rejuvenators often suffer catastrophic battery leakage. This one had its battery removed at some point and has some minor acid damage around the the RTC area (the battery removal looks sloppy, but it seems only cosmetic). Unknown if there is any actual damage to the RTC traces. It's probably okay.
This Rejuvenator's jumpers have not been soldered to the motherboard, it's still using the original alligator clips. In most Rejuvenator installs, these get soldered into place for added reliability as the alligator clips can pop off if the system is moved around. So if by some chance it does not work on arrival - one of these clips has likely fallen off.
Because removal and re-installation is the toughest part of working with a Rejuvenator, I'm only selling it pre-installed and working in an Amiga 1000.
Amiga 1000 specifics:
North American NTSC Amiga 1000 base unit with 256k front expansion. (I don't think the Rejuvenator can work on a PAL A1000 board)
The Rejuvenator allows jumpering of the Agnes to default to booting into PAL mode, but the PSU is a North American 110v unit.
Beat-up case, correct A1000 angled mouse included, tested and working floppy drive, North American PSU, no keyboard (see below)
Alternately, to reduce overseas shipping charges I can remove the PSU, floppy drive and case, leaving just the mainboard with rejuvenator. I'm not really sure what kind of saving that would be.
I can optionally also add a hopelessly broken (most key presses do not work) A1000 keyboard + cable if you want it.
USD$500 paypal as a gift, or paypal plus 4%
Shipping estimates (Cheapest USPS rates based on 22"x19"x9" 22lbs parcel with no insurance, tracking, etc)
UK 95.81
Germany 76.72
US 39.45
